There's so much more to photography than the photos.

Don't get me wrong! I know that you're looking for a photographer because you want beautiful photos. I believe that the photography experience means so much more when we can make a connection with each other.

So let's learn about each other! I'll go first.

Some things you should know about me: I'm queer. I'm told I have a great laugh (you'll hear it, I guarantee that)! I am a bit of a hype woman; I can't stop myself from saying "so beautiful!" and showing you a photo on my camera after I take it. I wear my Converses to roughly 99% of my shoots.

At weddings and events, I love to be a fly on the wall and capture the little things as they unfold: the interactions, the connections, the small smiles and tissues dabbing at tears. My wedding clients say that they barely notice me during their ceremonies and receptions — and that's one of my favorite compliments I've ever received.

I am a body positive photographer. To me, that means that you can show up in front of my camera — whether that's a boudoir session, your wedding or elopement, or a portrait session — exactly as you are, and I will never, ever make you feel like you need to change to be seen. You can take up space here.

The quiet moments of authentic connection. Private vows, first looks, stolen glances, and the little moments when spouses glow with love for each other.

The moment the client(s) "let go" for the first time. It's an unmistakable glimmer that comes over them where I can tell they're starting to feel good in their body. It's magic.
